A fellowship rooted in Scripture, united by Yahshua, and devoted to walking in Yahweh's truth together.
Bethel, PA · Founded 1980
"Be still and know that I am Yahweh."
— Psalm 46:10
Our beliefs center upon the importance of standing upon Scripture as the sole authority and rule of Faith in our lives. Our Savior, Yahshua the Messiah, is described as the Word made flesh (John 1:1-3, 14-15). Introducing other extrabiblical sources upon which to build our Faith would essentially diminish the Savior of the World, thereby distorting the image of Almighty Yahweh, our Father in Heaven.
We believe and teach the importance of the two great commandments (Matthew 22:34-40). As an expression of love, we keep the seventh day Sabbath, guard what we eat, and observe the Feasts of Yahweh — Passover, Unleavened Bread, Pentecost, Trumpets, Atonement, Tabernacles, and the Last Great Day. We are a Scripture-practicing group doing our utmost to live according to every Word that proceeds from the mouth of Yahweh.
To be a beacon of light for our Heavenly Father Yahweh and our exalted Savior Yahshua through sharing of Scripture, engaging in the community around us, and being ambassadors of the glad tidings in all that we do.
Hear directly from our congregation about who we are, what we believe, and what a visit to Yahweh's Free Brethren looks like.
Yahweh's Free Brethren has a long and storied history going back to the early days of the Sacred Name Movement. In 1980 a group of believers formed what was then called Yahweh's Frystown Assembly. Elder Jake Meyer, who had served as an elder in the Assemblies of Yahweh, eventually rejoined the Frystown fellowship and was elected pastor in 2002.
For decades the assembly met in the Jackson Grange, a rented building in the area. Beginning in 2008, the congregation began hosting the Feast of Tabernacles locally in Pennsylvania rather than traveling to Missouri — and it has been a great success every year since.
In 2009 the congregation was offered a historic church building in the area, originally built in 1846. After six years of working through permits and regulations, renovations began and were completed in time for the 2018 Passover and Feast of Unleavened Bread. After 38 years of meeting in rented spaces, our assembly finally had a home. The building has become a beacon along the local state highway — at our open house shortly after moving in, over 600 people stopped by during that week.
